Last weekend, I decided to take a trip to Hamilton Pool with
a few of my friends. I had heard a lot about it but it was my first time going. It is
a perfect place to take a picnic (which we did), and spend time with nature and
friends. Its is perfect for those hot summer days and great for swimming. Not
to mention the amazing view.

It is located about 30 miles West of Austin. When you go to Hamilton pool the large emphasis on habitat protection and environmental education is evident. It
is also good for hiking. We decided to just go swimming and spend some time on
the sun. It was really a very enjoyable day and experience. I now wish I would have gone to
Hamilton Pool before being a senior. I truly recommend it to everyone!
Seems like a very relaxing and adventurous location in Austin that i yet have to go to. From the things i have heard about this place i definitely will take a trip there soon.I have heard the place is adventurous and is a new experience in all. Not a lot of places have such awesome, natural and environment friendly places to hangout and just cool off on a scorching hot summer day. The Hamilton Pool in my view is a unique natural pool that would surely act like a great stress buster. I also have heard there are quite a few water snakes and other creatures in this pool. One has to be careful while taking the dip!
ReplyDeleteA group of friends and I decided to make the drive to Hamilton Pool one day, but left a bit too late. By the time we got there it was like 2 hours before closing and there was a line to get in. Once the parking lot reaches capacity of 75 vehicles, a new car can't go in unless another leaves. What we decided to do did was we drove down the road about half a mile where there is a road that hits the Perdenales River. The water was still very refreshing and there weren't many people in the area. So, if you every get to Hamilton Pool and don't feel like waiting, a great alternative is right down the road.
